19.-21.10.2018 we had beautiful meeting with friends and samoyeds – Samoyed tour Karpaty, this time in cottage Emmy in Zlatnícka dolina, with barbecue and cooking goulash, making tours in forest, walk to chalet Skalica and just to have fun. Thank you for beautiful weekend Dear friends!

OUR SUMMER TIME

SAMOYED CAMP AND SPECIAL SHOW IN SKALICA

The end of the summer was dedicated to the traditional Samoyed camp, this time in Zlatnícka dolina near Skalica. Most of participants came already on Wednesday, so they could enjoy such a mini- holidays. First evening we roasted sausages, talked and just to had fun ... new participants met traditional ... On Thursday, we had a bit of fun with agility and then tested our knowledge about Samoyeds in the discipline "In the footsteps of samoyeds". In the afternoon, Martin cooked a bean, and people who wanted to compete, tested the speed of their samoyeds in the sausages run . Friday afternoon was reserved for the Samoyeds mini-olympic games. In the afternoon, the boys battered under the pots and prepared a great cabbage, bean and divine goulash. Ota Janko gave us an interesting lecture on the subject of sports. The participants of the camp could try scooter with samoyed, to work with the dog, to take a walk in the surrounding countryside .... The evening was an annual meeting and a raffle under the stars.
On Saturday, a special exhibition was prepared. In the morning, we evaluated the previous competitions and passed the bonitation. The weather in Skalica did not disappoint us, and otherwise - it was raining almost all day during the show, a moment longer, a little less. The assessment was accepted by Ing. Radek Lysák from the Czech Republic, who, despite the heavy rain, devoted a lot of time to every dog. During the afternoon, the sun appeared for a while, and so the kids came to the ring to show us their handling of samoyeds. After the final competitions, there was a Samoyed costume parade - so many self-guided masks, some with their owners ... An amazing experience. After the show, we enjoyed the excellent French pancakes. Due to the heavy rain, we moved into the inner courtyard in the evening and devoted ourselves to various debates and quizzes. The "Samoyeds Treasure" competition was like a cherry on the cake on Sunday. In the end, the evaluation of the contests took place and with great impressions we chose to go home .... Thank you to all the people for a nice company, fun and also for feedback, it was great!

SUMMER SHOW IN BRATISLAVA

This year we came to summershow in Bratislava to support our progeny and friends. It was very hot day for people and for dogs also.
It was great weekend for Basty´s daughter Mia, who was BOB at her very first show and on the second day she got CACIB.
Basty´s son Einar was CAC and ResCACIB (CACIB) on Sunday.
We are very proud of Basty´s progeny. Congratulations!

ROAD TRIP – BELGIUM, NETHERLANDS AND WORLD DOG SHOW

We did not make plans for summer holiday this year, so we decided to make a short trip to the West, right at the World dog show to Amsterdam. A few days before the deadline to Belgium club match, we decided to participate at club match and after that travel to Amsterdam. We signed Reeva, Sienka and Basty and on Friday morning we set out for a trip - scheduled to arrive around eight o'clock in the evening. Our otherwise always reliable car notify the fault of the engine exactly in Vienna, when it was still some 1200 km ahead of us. My husband's decision to go further, even though the risk and the reduced speed were pretty courageous, but we finally put it, even back there. We have arrived at the hotel thanks to the work on the road around the midnight. We stayed in our famous hotel in Leuven, where we were staying 1,5 years ago when we were passing a puppy from E litter - Shiro - to his new family. We did not sleep very much and we were already happy to go not far to the club show. Dogs were nice, we met some other known and unknown samoyed people and we enjoyed a beautiful day. After the show, we moved to the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands, where a party was scheduled for the evening. Tired… but we could not have missed it. Great company, we were ashamed as it was long ago. Most of the participants planned to go to Amsterdam early in the morning to avoid confusion and to find parking spaces. We with Martin preferred to relax and go later. We arrived in Amsterdam at about ten o'clock and we decided to park the car in a parking place in suburbs and take advantage of the shuttle service - the best we could do. The halls were overcrowded, of course the ring with saymoeds was completely at the other end of the entrance. According to the feedback and feedback of the participants, it was better to spend time talking to people than monitoring the assessment. We finally stayed almost until the evening at the show and then chose back to Utrecht, where we still had a common dinner. The journey home was once again long, but it was nice trip.

Samoyeds love kids, kids love samoyeds.... the organizers of camps for children ask me to come with our fluffies to the camp and make some programe for children.... We preppared competitions in agility but favourite activity was to cuddle the dogs.... everybody was happy – children dogs and adults of course :)

We had small holidays in July and one day we went to the beautiful cottage of our friend. The whole family, and of course all dogs...Amazing nature, amazing cottage, atmosphere...Here are some photos from this nice day...

BUBBLE DAY IN SENICA

Last day of May we were invited to participate on one very nice activity for children in our town – buble day. The organizers prepared a lot of competitions for children and one of the activities was our stand with samoyeds.... a lot of cudlles, smiles... and agility competitions... :)

SAMOYED TOUR TATRY 2018

After one year we are here again.... Our samoyed friends, our samoyed family came to High Tatras to spend beautiful holidays together with us.
Trips, barbecue, meeting and talking and to have some fun together :)
During our small holiday „Samoyed tour“ 26 samoyeds have participated at our activities. We had „light“ tour to Hrebienok and Waterfall first day.
The second day was more difficult, we decided to go to „Sliezsky dom“. We had traditional tour to Popradské pleso and walk near Štrbské pleso on Friday.
For me one of the most beautiful tour to „Zelené pleso“ was planned for Saturday, but the weather didn´t look very nice - so our friends living in this locality recommended to go other direction – hehe, high to Solisko :)
We had barbecue, cooked goulash or other meals and had a lot of fun together every evening after our daily trips. Nice visits of „our puppies“ and friends living near Tatras was nice surprise for us. Last day – Sunday- was reserved for walks in Smokovec, and small samoyed party with ice cream.
We spent beautiful time with our dogs and friends, got new energy and have a lot of nice memories and photos..... so looking forward to samoyed tour Tatry next year!

The first weekend in February we went to Germany near Stuttgart to take our Nayka to the new family. We took Bastion with us and did a bit of sightseeing.

BULGARIA

We took one of our puppies, Ginger, to his new home in Sofia in Bulgaria. Reeva and Lilly accompanied Ginger on the way. Our friend Temenuska organised a meetings of puppies - offsprings of our Azara (girl from our first litter) - and their owners. They took us in Sofia and had a programm ready for us. Also Silviya from Pleven with son of our Bastion came to see us. Than you all for travelling such a long distances, it was great to see you and meet so many new great people and friends. :)
